Origin

The artery arises from thesuperior vesical artery(usually),[1]or from theinferior vesical artery.[2]

Course, anastomoses, and distribution

It accompanies theductus deferensinto thetestis,where it anastomoses with thetesticular artery;in this way it also supplies blood to the testis andepididymis.A small branch also supplies theureter.[citation needed]
