Atasha Aaron Bonnin Muhlach(Tagalog pronunciation:[ˈmulak];born November 5, 2001) is a Filipinamedia personality,television host,andmodel.One of the fraternal twins ofAga MuhlachandCharlene Gonzales.[1]She started her career onE.A.T.,now rebranded asEat Bulaga!,after her contract signing withViva Artists Agency.[2][3]

Personal life[edit]

Muhlach was born to actorAga Muhlach,and former beauty queen, model and host,Charlene Gonzales,on November 5, 2001. She has a twin brother, Andrés Antonio Muhlach, and an older half-brother, Luigi "Iggy Boy" Muhlach, who is Aga's son with actressJanice de Belen.After graduating high school from theBritish School Manila,Muhlach went on to attend university atNottingham Trent Universityin England, where she took up a business-related course.[4]

Muhlach attended the prestigiousLe Bal des Débutantesin November 2022, an annual event inParis,France, with a select group of 20–25 girls from around the world to raise funds for young women's charities.[5][6]

Months prior to her debut as a noontime show host, she earned a business degree with honors from Nottingham on July 28, 2023. Muhlach is a fitness enthusiast and athlete, apart fromswimming,marathon,basketball,golf,and having played for the under-18 women's nationalrugbyteam, she also doeswakeboarding,jet skiing,parasailing,andsnorkelling.[7]

Muhlach has appeared onJollibeecommercials since her childhood, featuring her parents and twin brother Andres.[8]

With a showbiz lineage, Muhlach entered the industry after completing business school in Nottingham because her parents encouraged her to focus more on her studies. During her contract signing withViva Artists Agencyin July 2023, she disclosed that her aspiration to join the showbiz industry had been a dream since she was a kid.[9]

On September 23, 2023, Muhlach was introduced as the newest co-host of E.A.T., now rebranded asEat Bulaga!and before her introduction, hostsVic SottoandJoey de Leondescribed her as a fashionista, studious, performer, artist, and family-oriented.[10]

On October 25, 2023, Muhlach released her first single, "Pasuyo", underVicor Music,a record label underViva Records,which was praised by fans and fellow celebrities for its relatable pop arrangement with composition by Kyle Raphael and produced by JP Verona.[11]

Muhlach will be joining her parents and twin brother Andres in an upcoming sitcom—their first-ever acting project as a family—as they officially signed a contract on January 26, 2024, to work on a project in collaboration withMediaQuest Ventures,Cignal,TV5,Viva Films,Studio Viva,and Viva Artists Agency.[12]
