Audrey Dana(born 21 September 1977)[citation needed]is a French actress and film director.

Life and career

Dana studied drama inOrléansandParis.After two years inNew York City,she went back to France where she acted in various plays, includingNos amis, les humainsbyBernard Werber.She was also cast in the movie adaptationsNos amis les Terriens,andRoman de GarebyClaude Lelouch.In 2008, she was nominated for theCésar Awardfor Most Promising Actress and was awarded thePrix Romy Schneider.Dana and her ex-husband, French film directorMabrouk El Mechri,have a son Lee who was born in 2008.[2]

Her directorial debutFrench Womenwas released on 4 June 2014.[3]
