Aulnoye-Aymeries(French pronunciation:[o(l)nwaɛm(ə)ʁi];Picard:Auno-Aymeries) is acommunein theNorddepartmentin northernFrance.It was established in 1953 by the merger of the former communes Aulnoye and Aymeries.[3]
Before the opening of thehigh-speed railwayline betweenBrusselsandParis,therailway station of Aulnoye-Aymerieswas a major junction, where the linesParis–BrusselsandCalais–Lille–Thionvilleconnected.
