Naza was one of the most famous Qawwali playback singers inIndian cinema.In the year 1975 his qawwali singleJhoom Barabar Jhoom Sharabidominated the top 10 List ofBinaca geetmalafor 20 consecutive weeks.[6]His other notable songs as a playback singer areHoke Mayoos Tere Dar Sefor movieLaila Majnu,Qurbani Qurbanititle song forQurbani,Bhajan Bina Chain Na AayeforRafoo ChakkarSunle Tu Binati Meri Haji AliforNehle Pe Dehlaconsidered as an all-time hit. Aziz Naza received a special award for the MovieQurbani.He was signed byGramophone CompanyCalcutta,India in the early 1960s.
