BHL Tower(Malay:Menara BHL) is a commercial skyscraper withinGeorge Townin theMalaysian stateofPenang.Located atNortham Road,the 30-storey building was completed in 1995 and stands at a height of 108 m (354 ft).[2]
Aside from hosting a branch ofCIMB Bank,BHL Tower also houses the Consulate-General of Japan in Penang.[3][4]
History
[edit]BHL Tower, completed in 1995, is one of the oldest skyscrapers alongNortham Roadafter the nearbyMBf Tower.It originally served as the regional office of BHL Bank, which was later merged with other banks to form its successor,CIMB.[5]To this day,CIMBmaintains a branch within the structure.[3]
