TheBYD F0,[2]formerly known asBYD F1,[1]is acity carproduced by the Chinese manufacturerBYD.It was introduced in July 2008 and was produced until 2015. Although petrol versions were discontinued, a subsequent electric version, branded under the new "e series" was launched in 2019 as theBYD e1.
The F0 was unveiled at the 2007 Guangzhou motor show.[3]The car was priced in 2009 at approximatelyUS$6,700,and reportedly gets 56 mpg‑US(4.2 L/100 km; 67 mpg‑imp).[4]
Specifications
[edit]Its 1.0 liter petrol engine produces 50 kW (68 PS; 67 hp) at 6000 rpm and top Torque of 90 N⋅m (66 lb⋅ft) from 4000 rpm to 4500 rpm. This engine can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 12.80 seconds. The design is an unlicensed copy of the EuropeanToyota Aygo.

BYD e1
[edit]The BYD e1 is the electric version of the BYD F0.[6]The BYD e1 was introduced in 2019, featuring a front positioned 45 kW and 110N-m electric motor powering the front wheels.[7]
