Barandouz River

TheBaranduz Riveris located innorth westIranwhich flows into theendorheicsaltwaterLake Urmia.[1]It is named after the village ofBaran Duz.

After the building of the Baranduz Dam, the flow of the river was greatly reduced, contributing to the severedesiccationof Lake Urmia.[2]
