Barnabas Kinyor

Barnabas Agui Kinyor(born 3 August 1961 inNandi Hills) is a retiredKenyanathlete who specialized in the400 metres hurdles.

He finished seventh at the1990 Commonwealth Games,eighth at the1993 World Championshipsand won the bronze medal at the1994 Commonwealth Games.He also competed at the1992and1996 Olympic Gamesas well as the1995 World Championshipswithout reaching the final.

His personal best time was 48.90 seconds, achieved in the heats of the 1992 Olympics.[1]

Private life

His sonJob Kinyoris a professionalmiddle-distance runner.[2][3]With his wifeSalina Kosgei(also a runner) he has two children: Billy (born 1996) and Ruth (born 2001).[4]
