The commune includes three villages:
- Beidaud
- Neatârnarea (Caildereuntil 1908)
- Sarighiol de Deal
The commune's name is ofTurkishorigin, being a compound of the wordsbeyandDaut,derived fromDavid.Thus, the name means "village of thebeyDavid ".[3]
