Berlin Babylonis a 2001 Germandocumentary filmdirected by Hubertus Siegert with industrial music performed byEinstürzende Neubauten.The film's main focus is on the extensive rebuilding projects inBerlinafter the fall of theBerlin Wall.It features internationally acclaimed architects includingRem Koolhaas,Renzo Piano,andI.M. Pei.

Some sequences are characterized bytime-lapse photographyalong with the narration ofDer Engel der Geschichte(the Angel of History). The documentary also containsstock footageof demolitions of the buildings which were left to stand in ruins after theSecond World War.
