Bicuspidonis an extinct genus ofpolyglyphanodontlizard known from theLate CretaceousofNorth America,EuropeandAfrica,two species,B. numerosus[1]andB. smikros[2]are known from theCenomanianofUtahin the Mussentuchit Member of theCedar Mountain Formationand theNaturita Formationrespectively. WhileB. hatzegiensisis known from theMaastrichtianSânpetru FormationofRomania[3]andB. hogreliis known from the CenomanianKem Kem BedsofMorocco.[4]An indeterminate taxon closely related toB. hatzegiensisreferred to asB. aff. hatzegiensisis known from theSantonianCsehbánya FormationofHungary.[5]The dentition is heterodont, with conical anterior teeth and transversely oriented bicuspid posterior teeth.
