William Kenneally(12 October 1925 − 26 August 2009) was an IrishFianna Fáilpolitician. He first stood for election at the1961 general electionbut was unsuccessful. He was elected toDáil Éireannas a Fianna FáilTeachta Dála(TD) for theWaterfordconstituency at the1965 general election.[1]

He was re-elected at each subsequent election until he lost his seat at theFebruary 1982 general election.[2]He was elected to the16th Seanadin 1982 on theAdministrative Panel.He did not contest the 1983Seanadelection.

Kenneally was twice Mayor of Waterford city in the 1970s and 1980s.[3]His fatherWilliam Kenneallyalso served as a TD for Waterford from 1952 to 1961, and his sonBrendan Kenneallyis a former TD for Waterford.[2]

He died in Waterford Regional Hospital on 26 August 2009.[3]
