Binchuan County(simplified Chinese:Tân xuyên huyện;traditional Chinese:Tân xuyên huyện;pinyin:Bīnchuān Xiàn;Bai:Bil•gel[2]) is a county in theDali Bai Autonomous Prefecturelocated in the west ofYunnanProvince, China.
Topography[edit]
Mount Jizuis located in Binchuan County. The county is mostly drained by theDadan Riverwhich rises in the south west and is a tributary of theJinsha River.

Ethnic groups[edit]
There are 251Lahuin Binchuan County, most of whom reside in the following villages of Zhongying Lisu Ethnic Township (Chung anh lật túc tộc hương) (Dali Ethnic Gazetteer2009:251).
- Zhimadeng Village (Chi ma đăng thôn): Mizideng (Mễ tử đăng)
- Zhaokala Village (Triệu tạp lạp thôn): Yuexia (Việt hạ), Baiyangqing (Bạch dương tinh), Tanggudi (Đường cổ địa)
The Guola (Quá lạp) people consists of 63 individuals in East Caijiawan (Đông thái gia loan) of Binchuan County (You 2013:134).[4]Their autonym is Nipu (Ni bộc), and they are most closely related to the Yi of Dayao (Đại diêu) and Yanfeng (Diêm phong). The Guola of Binchuan had originally migrated from Yanfeng County (Diêm phong huyện).
