Mack A. "Bodi" White, Jr.(born April 7, 1956) is an American politician fromLouisianawho representedDistrict 6in theLouisiana State Senatefrom 2012 to 2024. ARepublican,White previously served in theLouisiana House of Representativesfor District 64 between 2004 and 2012.[1][2]

Electoral history

White was first elected to theLouisiana House of Representativesin 2003, succeedingTony Perkins.In2011,White successfully ran for theLouisiana State Senate's6th district,narrowly defeatingExxonexecutive Mike Mannino in the first round.[3]

In 2016,White ran forEast Baton Rouge Parishmayor-president, but lost in the runoff election toDemocratSharon Weston Broome.[4]
