Synopsis
[edit]Kelsey Bornstein's classmates bully her because she is the first person their age to grow largebreasts.However, instead ofmenstruating,Kelsey becomes awerewolf.
Reception
[edit]"Boobs" won the 1990Hugo Award for Best Short Story[1]and was a finalist for theNebula Award for Best Short Storyof 1989.[2]Charnas noted that Kelsey is "pretty selfish and empathy blind".[3]
