Bruno Saby(born 23 February 1949 inGrenoble) is arally driverfromFrance.

In 1981, Saby became French Rally Champion in aRenault 5 Turbo.He drove for the works teams ofRenault,Peugeot,VolkswagenandLanciaduring his career in theWorld Rally Championship.He took twoWorld Rally Championshipwins in his career—his first, driving aPeugeot 205 Turbo 16 E2,was in the 1986Tour de Corse,in whichHenri Toivonenand his co-driverSergio Crestodied. His only other win was withLanciain the 1988Monte Carlo Rally.

In 1978 Saby claimed the FrenchRallycrossChampionship title with anAlpine A1101600. In the 1988 French Rallycross Championship he drove aLancia Delta S4to become the runner-up to ChampionGuy Fréquelinwho drove aPeugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evo 2.

He participated from 1992 to 2008 in cross country rallye and in theDakar Rally,which he won in 1993 while driving forMitsubishi.Driving forVolkswagen,he won the 2005FIAcross-country rallye world championship. He retired in July 2008.
