Store Bukkeholstindenis amountaininLom MunicipalityinInnlandetcounty,Norway.The 2,213-metre (7,260 ft) tall mountain is located in theJotunheimenmountains withinJotunheimen National Park.The mountain sits about 32 kilometres (20 mi) southwest of the village ofFossbergomand about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of the village ofØvre Årdal.The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains includingBukkeholshøito the east;Nørdre Hellstugutinden,Midtre Hellstugutinden,andUrdadalstindeneto the southeast;TverrbytthornetandKyrkjato the south; theTverrbottindeneridge to the southwest and west;BukkehøeandLindbergtindento the northwest; andStore Styggehøeto the northeast.[1]
This mountain is the highest among the mountains called Bukkeholstindane, and lies on a ridge between theBukkeholsbreenglacier in the north and the Tverrbytnede valley in the south.
