Chandrasekharan Kesavadasis an Indian radiologist and a professor of radiology at theSree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology.[1]His research focus in the fields ofmagnetic resonance imaging,neuroradiologymedical imaging informatics and brain Computer interface.[2]He led a team of scientists who developed an imaging protocol for scanningintractable epilepsy,a computational software for detectingcortical dysplasiaand novel neuroimaging systems for weighted imaging of brain cancer.[3]His studies have been documented by way of a number of articles[4][note 1]andResearchGate,an online repository of scientific articles has listed 275 of them.[5]TheDepartment of Biotechnologyof the Government of India awarded him theNational Bioscience Award for Career Development,one of the highest Indian science awards, for his contributions to biosciences, in 2009.[6]The award orations delivered by him include the 2010 edition of the M. N. Sen Oration of theIndian Council of Medical Research.[7]
