The station originally began broadcasting in1974as CKTA which operated at 1570AM,until the station moved to its current frequency 93.3 FM in2000asclassic rockerCHHK.[1]In2004it shifted toadult hitsand adopted its current branding and callsign and later toCHR/Top 40in2007.CJBZ has since shifted to a hot adult contemporary format.
CJBZ airsAmerican Top 40withRyan Seacreston Saturday evenings at 6 PM and on Sunday mornings at 9 AM.
