CKPP-FMis a radio station which broadcasts avariety hitsformat on 107.9MHz(FM) inPrescott,Ontario,Canada.CKPP's studio is located inKemptville,while its transmitter is located near Prescott.
History[edit]
On February 16, 2011,Haliburton Broadcasting Groupsubmitted an application to operate a new FM Radio station in the Town ofPrescottat 107.9 MHz. On November 10, 2011, this application received approval from theCRTC.[1]
On April 23, 2012Vista Broadcast Group,which owns a number of radio stations in western Canada, announced a deal to acquireHaliburton Broadcasting Group,in cooperation with Westerkirk Capital.[2]The transaction was approved by the CRTC on October 19, 2012.[3]

CKPP began broadcasting as107.9 Coast FMon October 20, 2015 At 12:00 PMEST.[4]
Moose FM[edit]
On October 23, 2020, just five years after its airdate asCoast FM,the station changed its branding to107.9 Moose FMretaining itsclassic hitsbut with a widervariety hitsformat.
