Cytochrome P450, family 139,also known asCYP139,is acytochrome P450monooxygenasefamilyinbacteria.The first gene identified in this family isCYP139A1fromMycobacterium tuberculosis.Most member of this family belonged to the subfamily A, and involved in the synthesis of secondarymetabolitesin manymycobacterialspecies.[1]
