Carlos Roberto Lupi(born 16 March 1957) is a Brazilian professor and politician. He is the president of theDemocratic Labour Party (PDT)and one of the vice presidents of theSocialist International (SI).[1][2][3]

DuringLuiz Inácio Lula da Silva(PT) andDilma Rousseff's (PT) government, he was theMinister of Labour and Employmentbetween March 2007 and December 2011.[4]

Lupi was also State Secretary of Government ofRio de Janeiro,State Secretary of Transports ofRio de Janeiroand Federal Deputy for the same state.[5]
