Chadri[1][2]also known asChad[3][4]is a clan of theGurjarsof India and Pakistan. They are mainly based inGujarat,Rajasthan, Haryana,[1]Punjab, India and Jammu and Kashmir, but some are also found inPakistani, Kashmir,[4]PunjabandHimalayanregions divided between Pakistan and India. It is also an offshoot ofLaurbranch of Gurjars in easternRajasthan.[5]

Gujjar:The community has a number of clans. The principal clans are Barsoi, Dhanga, Chamayan, Chhokar, Khatana, Rawal, Khare, Seradra, Pilwara, Awana, Kumbar, Madi, Chechi, Koli,Chadri,Chanda, Mutan, Nekari, Rawat, Rajana, Budana. The clans regulate their marriage alliance.

Gujjars are divided into a large number of exogamous clans, referred to as zat or occasionally as gottar or got, some of which are known as Paswal, Koli, Lode, Chauhan, Khatana,Chad,Chechi, Kals, Dhakkad, Sradna, Thikriya, etc.
