Changshou Lake(simplified Chinese:Trường thọ hồ;traditional Chinese:Trường thọ hồ;pinyin:Chángshòu Hú) orShizitan Reservoir(Chinese:Sư tử than thủy khố;pinyin:Shīzǐtān Shuǐkù;lit.'Lion Beach Reservoir') inChangshou District,Chongqing,China.[1]In the purpose of generating electric power, fourhydraulic power stationswere built after thedamconstruction had been completed in the 1950s.[2]Since then a state farm was set up forfisheryandhorticultureas well asanimal husbandry.Its surface area is 60 km2with an irrigation area amounting to 248 km2.There are manyislandswithin the lake, good for tourism.
