Chrysapaceis agenusofantsin thesubfamilyDorylinaecontaining four described species.[1]The genus is distributed across theMalaysian peninsula,Indonesia,and thePhilippines,with undescribed species fromMadagascarand fromBaltic amber[2][3][4]Chrysapacewas described by Crawley (1924) and later placed as a junior synonym ofCerapachysby Brown (1975).Chrysapacewas resurrected as a valid genus by Borowiec (2016) during redescription of the doryline genera.[2]
