Chy Davidson(born May 9, 1959) is a formerAmerican footballwide receiverwho played two seasons with theNew York Jetsof theNational Football League(NFL). He was drafted by theNew England Patriotsin the eleventh round of the 1981 NFLsupplemental draft.He playedcollege footballat theUniversity of Rhode Islandand attendedBayside High SchoolinQueens, New York.[1]Davidson was also a member of theWashington RedskinsandWashington Federals.

Early years

Davidson playedhigh school footballfor theBayside High SchoolCommodores. He set the all-time scoring record for the Commodores with 28 touchdowns in a single season.[2]

Professional career

Davidson was selected by theNew England Patriotsof the NFL in the eleventh round of the 1981 NFLsupplemental draft.[1]He was released by the Patriots on August 24, 1981.[3]He signed with the NFL'sWashington Redskinsduring the 1982 off-season.[2]Davidson was released by the Redskins on September 6, 1982.[4]He signed with theWashington Federalsof theUnited States Football Leagueon January 21, 1983.[5]He was by the Federals released on February 28, 1983.[6]Davidson was signed by theNew York Jetsof the NFL on April 10, 1984.[7]He played in four games for the Jets from 1984 to 1985.[1]He was released by the Jets on September 12, 1985.[8]
