Citlālicue[a]( "star garment" ), alsoCitlālinicue[b]andIlamātēcuhtli[c],was a creator goddess inAztec mythology.
She created thestarswith her husbandCitlalatonac,theMilky Way,Earth,death,anddarkness.[1]This pair of gods are sometimes associated with the first pair of humans,Nata and Nena.[1]
