Commission of Audit

TheCommission of Audit(CA;Chinese:Thẩm kế thự;Portuguese:Comissariado da Auditoria) is theauditorfor the government ofMacauto aidaccountabilityby conducting independentauditsof thegovernmentoperations. The office has similar functions toauditorsin other jurisdictions, but the Commissioner reports directly to theChief Executive of Macau,not toLegislative Council of Macauand therefore lacks independence from political interference.
