Como Te Extraño(transl.How I Miss You) is the second studio album by AmericanTejano musicsingerPete Astudillo.It was released on November 21, 1995 throughEMI Latin.The album was produced byA. B. Quintanilla,who played alongside Astudillo as part ofSelena y Los Dinos,a band fronted bySelena.Como Te Extrañowas a commercial success peaking at number six on the USBillboardTop Latin Albumschart and number two on the USBillboardRegional Mexican Albumschart.[1][2]The title track, "Como Te Extraño",was atribute songfor Astudillo's mother and Selena (who wasshot and killedeight months prior to the release of the album). The title track peaked atop the USBillboardRegional Mexican Songschart,[3]while the album's second single "Si No Fui Yo" peaked at number 38 on the USBillboardHot Latin Songschart.[4]The album also contains "Contigo Quiero Estar",Selena's 1989 debut single with EMI Latin.Como Te Extrañowon theTejano Music Award for Album of the Year - Orchestraat the1996 Tejano Music Awards.
