Cornelis Eliza Bertus Bremekamp(7 February 1888 inDordrecht– 21 December 1984) was a Dutchbotanist.[1]
He received his education at theUniversity of Utrecht,and performed as a botanical researcher inIndonesiaandSouth Africa.In South Africa he collaborated with German botanistHerold Georg Wilhelm Johannes Schweickerdt(1903–1977).
From 1924 to 1931 he was a professor atTransvaal UniversityinPretoria,where he conducted studies of the genusPavetta.During this time period he collected plants from northernTransvaal,Rhodesia,andMozambique.A portion of his career was spent at theherbariumin Utrecht, where he specialized in studies ofRubiaceaeandAcanthaceae.
