Current Biologyis a biweeklypeer-reviewedscientific journalthat covers all areas ofbiology,especiallymolecular biology,cell biology,genetics,neurobiology,ecology,andevolutionary biology.The journal includes research articles, various types ofreview articles,as well as an editorial magazine section. The journal was established in 1991[1]by the Current Science group, acquired byElsevierin 1998 and has since 2001 been part ofCell Press,a subdivision of Elsevier.[2]According toJournal Citation Reports,the journal has a 2020impact factorof 10.834.[3][4]It was categorized as a "high impact journal" by theSuperfund Research Program.[5]
