D112is a state road on the island ofŠoltainCroatiaconnecting ferry port ofRogač,from whereJadrolinijaferries fly to the mainland, docking inSplit[1]and theD410state road to theD111 state road,the main road on the island. The road is 1.9 km (1.2 mi) long.[2]
The road, as well as all other state roads in Croatia, is managed and maintained byHrvatske ceste,a state-owned company.[3]
Traffic volume
[edit]Traffic volume is not counted directly at the D112 road, howeverHrvatske ceste(HC), operator of the road reports number of vehicles using Split – Rogač ferry line, connecting the D112 road to theD410 state road.[4]Substantial variations between annual (AADT) and summer (ASDT) traffic volumes are attributed to the fact that the road connects a number of island resorts to the mainland.
