D403is a state road connectingA7 motorwayŠkurinje interchange[1]to the centre of the city ofRijeka,and to thePort of RijekaWest terminal.[2]The road is 2.5 km (1.6 mi) long.[3]

The D403 state road is scheduled for a reconstruction in order to provide a more efficient connection to the Port of Rijeka, but those plans have been postponed.[4]Currently, D-403 comprises many urban at-grade intersections within the city ofRijeka.

The road, as well as all other state roads in Croatia, is managed and maintained byHrvatske ceste,state owned company.[5]
