D406branches off to the southwest fromD8nearPriznatowardsPriznaferry port - ferry access toŽigljen,island ofPag(D106). The road is 2.9 km long.[1]
As with all other state roads in Croatia, the D406 is also managed and maintained byHrvatske ceste,state owned company.[2]
Traffic volume
[edit]Traffic is not regularly counted on the road, however,Hrvatske cestereport number of vehicles using Prizna-Žigljen ferry line, connecting D406 to theD106 state road.[3]Substantial variations between annual (AADT) and summer (ASDT) traffic volumes are attributed to the fact that the road connects to a number of summer resorts.
