DPDPE([D-Pen2,D-Pen5]enkephalin) is asyntheticopioid peptideand aselectiveagonistof theδ-opioid receptor(DOR) which is used inscientific research.[1]It was developed in the early 1980s and was the first highly selective agonist of the DOR to be developed.[1]It was derived fromstructural modificationofmet-enkephalin.[2]
