Danseur noble

Adanseur nobletraditionally was a male ballet dancer who projected great nobility of character.[1]Over the last century, the term has been used to define a maleprincipal dancerwho performs at the highest theatrical level combining grace with ability. Some usedanseur nobleas the masculine equivalent to aPrima Ballerina,or to refer to the male partner of a ballerina during apas de deux.[2]
