David Ready
David Readyis an American film producer and production executive, and an EVP atChernin Entertainment.
Life and career
[edit]A native ofBostonand graduate ofWashington University in St. Louis,Ready previously was a production executive forJerry Weintrauband subsequently atDi Bonaventura Pictures.[1]He joinedChernin Entertainmentin 2013,[2]where his producing credits includeMike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,The Mountain Between Us(2017),Red Sparrow(2018),[3][4]Tolkien,Netflix'sFear Streettrilogy,Slumberland,andLuther: The Fallen Sun.[5][6][7]His upcoming credits include future installments of theFear Streetfranchise withNetflix,and a biopic about the rock band,Sublimewith3000 Pictures,director,Francis Lawrence,and writer,Chris Mundy.[8][9]
His earlier credits includeTransformers: Revenge of the Fallen,Salt,RedandRed 2,Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,andMan on a Ledge.[10][11]
