Dazed(Dazed & Confuseduntil February 2014) is a bi-monthly British lifestyle magazine founded in 1991. It covers music, fashion, film, art, and literature.Dazedis published by Dazed Media, anindependent mediagroup known for producing stories across its print, digital, and video brands. The company's portfolio includes titlesAnother Magazine,Dazed BeautyandNowness.The company's newest division, Dazed Studio, creates brand campaigns across the luxury and lifestyle sectors. Background[edit]

Dazedwas begun[2]byJefferson Hack,andRankinwhile they were studying atLondon College of Printing(now London College of Communications).[3]Beginning as a black-and-white folded poster[4]the magazine soon turned full colour and was promoted at London club nights. The Norwegian photographer and laterHells AngelMarcel Leliënhof[5]was involved with the magazine in the first editions, as was the stylistKatie Grand.[6]

Dazed Digital[edit]

Dazeddigital.com launched in November 2006.[7]Its former editor was Anna Cafolla.[8]As of 2021, Ib Kamara was appointed to the position of editor-in-chief, and Lynette Nylander as executive editorial director.[9]

Dazed Beauty[edit]

In September 2018,Dazedlaunched Dazed Beauty, a community platform dedicated to redefining the language and communication of beauty.[10]Its editor-in-chief is Bunney Kinney.[10]
