Diaminopyrimidine

Diaminopyrimidines(DAP) are a class oforganic chemicalcompounds that include twoaminegroups on apyrimidinering.

Trimethoprim

They include manydihydrofolate reductase inhibitordrugs(such aspyrimethamine,trimetrexate,andpiritrexim[1]and theantibioticsIclaprimandtrimethoprim).

Some have been patented as anti-cancer drugs.[2]
