Diamond Harbour Football Club is an Indian professionalfootball club based inDiamond Harbour ,West Bengal .It currently competes in theI-League 3 ,the fourth tier of theIndian football league system andCFL Premier Division .It is also the first tier football league in the state of West Bengal.[ 1] [ 2]
TMC politician andDiamond Harbour MPAbhishek Banerjee launched the DHFC in 2022. TheIFA allowed DHFC to participate inCFL First Division ,the third tier of Calcutta Football League. The club then appointed formerMohun Bagan andKerala Blasters head coachKibu Vicuña for the upcoming league season.[ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6] [ 7] [ 8] I-League 3 ahead of theinaugural season kick-off.[ 9] [ 10] [ 11]
