Domingos Leite Pereira(Portuguese:[duˈmĩɡuʒˈlɐjtɨpɨˈɾɐjɾɐ];19 September 1882 – 27 October 1956) was aPortuguesepolitician of thePortuguese First Republic.He had degrees intheologyand literature of theUniversity of Coimbra.He helped to improve the relationships between the republic and the Catholic Church during his government.

During his life he served in many political posts:

After the28 May 1926 revolutionthat installed theDitadura Nacional(National Dictatorship) that would be followed byAntónio de Oliveira Salazar's fascistEstado Novo(New State) regime, he abandoned his political life. Until the end of his life in 1956, he served as President of the insurance companyDouro.
