Sarah Staudinger(born in 1989) is an American fashion designer, entrepreneur, and founder of the fashion label STAUD. In 2019, she was named to theForbes 30 Under 30Arts & Style list.[1]
Staudinger launched her brand STAUD with business partner George Augusto in 2015, and it grew substantially in 2018.[1]The brand has been described as having acult following;[3]its accessory line has been particularly successful, launching popular items like the Moreau bucket bag as well as collaborations withNew BalanceandBirkenstock.[4][5][6]Prior to STAUD, she was the fashion director at the brand Reformation.[7][8]Earlier in her career, she worked as an assistantstylist.[8]
Personal life
[edit]ALos Angelesnative, she was born to Californian designer mother, of Lebanese heritage,[9]Joanna Staudinger (née Malouf) and German businessman father Walter Staudinger Sr.[9][1][7]Her mother and maternal grandfather also worked in the fashion business. Her godmother isCher,a close friend of her mother.[9]
In May 2022, Staudinger married Hollywood agentAri EmanuelinSaint-Tropez;[10]of note, the wedding was officiated by comedianLarry David,a friend of Emanuel.[11][12]
