[edit]This event marked the beginning of co-promotion between DREAM and US organizationStrikeforce.The event would also mark the return ofK. J. Noonsto Mixed Martial Arts in his first fight since2008.[3]
While not officially announced,Tim Sylviawas planning on participating in this event. However, Dream officials allegedly tried to change his opponent roughly two weeks before the bout was planned to take place.[4]
Marius Žaromskiswas in discussions to defend hisDream Welterweight ChampionshipagainstKiyoshi Tamuraat this event,[5]but would instead appear atDream 15on May 30, 2010.[6]
