E3 AFis the seventh studio album by English rapperDizzee Rascal,released on 30 October 2020 byDirtee StankandIsland Records.[14]

Background[edit]

E3 AFis Rascal's first full-length album since 2017'sRaskit.

Rascal announced the album onInstagramon 19 August 2020, stating:

"I've spent the last 3 years losing and finding myself in music and I've made something flawless. I made this album for YOU! I want you to play it at home, in your car or wherever you want but I want you to listen to it all the way through and you better have someBASS!! Thelink-upsare mad and I didn't come to play! You're welcome. "[15]

The album's title refers to the E3postal codedistrict where he grew up inBow,East London.[15]

Shortly before the album's release, Rascal was scheduled to perform alongsideWiley,M Huncho,andThe Streetsat Utilita Live from the Drive In, a series ofsocially distanceddrive-inconcerts, which were cancelled due toreimposed COVID-19 lockdownsinLeicester,England.[16]

Release and promotion[edit]

The album was announced on 19 August 2020, alongside the release of the lead single.[17]The album was originally announced for release on 9 October,[18]but was later delayed to 30 October.

Singles[edit]

E3 AFwas preceded by three singles. The lead single "L.L.L.L. (Love Life Live Large)", featuringChip,was released on 20 August 2020.[19]The second single, "Act Like You Know", featuringSmoke Boys,was released on 10 September 2020.[20]The third and final single, "Body Loose", which samples theArchitechs2000 hit "Body Groove",was released on 2 October 2020.[21]
