Edgar Fleischer Carroll(July 27, 1907 – October 13, 1984) was apitcherinMajor League Baseball.Listed at 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m), 185 lb., Carroll batted and threw right-handed. He was born inBaltimore, Maryland.

Carroll played briefly for the1929Boston Red Soxwho finished in last place in theAmerican League,winning only 58 games and losing 96, 48 games behind thePhiladelphia Athleticschampions. Used mostly as amiddle relieverand occasionalstarter,Carroll posted a 1–0 record with 13strikeoutsand a 5.61ERAin 24 appearances, including three starts and 67.1innings pitched.He also ranked 10th in the league with 13games finished.

Carroll died inRossville, Maryland,at age 77.
