Edward "Ed" Bleiberg(born 1951) is an Americanarchaeologist[1][2]andEgyptologist.[3]He graduated fromHaverford College,[3]did graduate studies atYale Universityand theHebrew University of Jerusalem,and finally received an M.A. and Ph.D. from theUniversity of Toronto.[3]Since 1998, he has been the curator of Egyptian, Near Eastern, and classical art at theBrooklyn Museum.[3]Some of his academic work has included research into the Jewish minorities living in the ancient world and for his study ofancient Egyptianburial customs.[3]He has also appeared in a documentary,King Tut's Gold.
