Egerton Parkis acricketground inMelton Mowbray,Leicestershire.The land for the park was purchased from the Egerton Lodge Estate by the Melton Mowbray Town Estate in 1931.[1]Egerton Park was used as an outground byLeicestershirefollowing theSecond World War,playing threefirst-class cricketmatches there againstSomerset,LancashireandKentin the1946,1947and1948 County Championship's respectively.[2]Egerton Park played host tointernational cricketin 1986, whenMalaysiaplayedZimbabwein theICC Trophy,though the match carried no official status.[3]
