El Karama(Arabic:حزب الكرامة,romanized:ḥizb al-karāma,lit.'Dignity Party') is apolitical partyinMauritanialed byCheikhna Ould Mohamed Ould Hajbou.

History

El Karama was founded on 12 October 2011.[1]It won six seats in the2013 parliamentary elections,[2]and retained all six seats in the2018 elections.

In the2023 parliamentary electionsEl Karama won five seats in theNational Assemblyof Mauritania.[3][4]

Ideology
