Wolstonwas anelectoral districtof theLegislative Assemblyin the Australian state ofQueenslandfrom 1972 to 1992.[1]
First created for the1972 state election,the district was based in the eastern part ofIpswich,essentially replacing the abolished district ofIpswich East.Wolston was a safe seat for theLabor Party.
Wolston was abolished by the 1991 redistribution; the first redistribution undertaken to comply with theone vote one valuereforms. Its territory was largely divided between the new electorates ofBundambaandInalawith parts also added to the new district ofMount Ommaney.
